I won't lie, the performance from the idols were pretty good and I think they got better as compared to the last time I saw them.

Obviously, my schoolmates were quite entranced by the performance and cheered pretty enthusiastically when the performance ended.

To them, it was something that was really unique and new so they were understandably quite fired up from the performance.

"They were pretty good," Delmare admitted while still being carried in my arms. "Although their singing seemed to be hindered by the fact that they had to dance at the same time and they aren't accustomed to that exertion yet."

I'm not surprised that Delmare managed to catch that.

I at least have experience watching professional idols perform so I could tell the difference between Aeta's idols as compared to them but Delmare had no such experience before this.

I turned to her, "So what is your plan for this? Should I take you to the stage now?"

She giggled, "Ehehe~ Not yet. I'll let them have their spotlight first."

I was about to ask what she meant until I realised the idols were doing a handshake event after they were done performing.

Most of my schoolmates were queuing up to shake their hands and there were excited squeals coming from the crowd.

I'm surprised that they even knew about handshake events…

While I was wondering if the idea came from an Off-Worlder, Emilia suddenly appeared beside me with an excited look on her face.

"Boss! Do you know that group?!" She asked

I tilted my head at her, "Not personally… But I do know the manager of their group at least…"

She clasped her hands together, "Could you introduce them to me after the party?"

"You're planning on getting some stake in their group, aren't you?"

She nodded quickly, "Of course! Do you know what the projected popularity of that group is?"

I shrugged, "I believe that they might be popular but I'm not sure how big they would be."

"They're going to be huge! I calculate that within the next five years, they might be the next big entertainment in the Kingdom that could even rival all the other existing entertainment options in existence right now!"

I mean… I know how big it could get since I've seen it in my old World… But I don't think it would actually get as popular here because of one big problem though…

"Would it really get that popular though? There's not exactly a way for a lot of people to be able to watch their performance unless they are in front of them, right?"

Emilia pulled out a weird looking Mana Crystal, "I guess you don't know this but there's such things as recording crystals, Boss. These can record a scene and play it back later on. Right now these aren't extensively used because of how expensive they are since their capacity is limited to how much mana the crystal has. They're mostly used to record messages or used as vanity items but if I can focus on getting a supply chain going for this, we could potentially increase the viewer base of this by at least fifty to a hundred times within the next year!"

I blinked at her, "I'm… Going to pretend like I knew what you just said and ask what would you like me to do?"

She realised she had been a little too excited and took a moment to compose herself again before straightening up, "Ahem… If Boss could just introduce me to the manager some time after the party, I would be able to take over things from there."

"What do you want to do with them though?" Delmare asked.

"Everything! They could be the first batch and we could just study their strengths and weaknesses before starting a second group that would be built upon what we learned to achieve an even bigger result! We could also start another company under a different name with a different group of these idols to stir up competition which would drive the popularity even higher because of that! All I need is just a favourable introduction and I should be able to take over their operations within the month!"

Have I ever said that Emilia is a little crazy when it comes to Creas? Because Emilia is a little crazy when it comes to Creas.

Delmare spoke up right then, "Why can't you just go talk to her right now? The person who owns the group is right over there."

Emilia turned to her for a moment before tilting her head at me, "Aren't the participants here going to lose their memories after they leave this place?"

I nodded, "That was the plan, yes."

The Nekomata made a face, "In that case, it's kind of pointless for me to make a deal with her if she's going to forget about it after the party is over right? That's why you decided to sing as well?"

Delmare hid her face in her hands, "I forgot about that…"

I giggled, "Ehehe~ Don't worry, I'll introduce you to her after the party."

"Thank you, Boss! But err… I have a question though… What would they actually remember from this party? They would definitely forget everything related to the Nilm Family but I doubt they would just step out from here and then completely forget that they watched an idol performance right? And those girls wouldn't forget that they performed somewhere either, right?"

I… Actually had no answer to that…

As though on cue, Katsuki appeared beside me like a shadow.

"They would remember attending a party but forget the details of it. For example, they will remember watching the performance but forget the location that they watched it at," My maid explained.

Emilia nodded, "Hmm… I can work with that."

That brought another question from me, "How do we even control what they remember?"

Katsuki turned to me, "My apologies, Mistress. But I am not granted access to that information."

Eh? That actually sounds a bit ominous… But I understood that this was probably some kind of secret of our family that we might use to deal with our enemies.

I wonder how many other secrets our family might have and what they might be? Would I ever know all of them?

As though to change the topic, Katsuki turned to Delmare, "Are you ready to perform yet? Everything else is prepared for you."

My Siren perked up, "Yes please! Ummm… Aster? Could I trouble you to carry me to the stage?"

I don't see a reason why not, so I carried her over to the stage.

As I neared the stage, I wondered if I was supposed to just carry her as she sang but one of the maids brought out a chair for me to place her on.

The moment I stepped onto the stage, I realised that all of my schoolmates immediately shifted their attention away from Aeta's idols and turned to us.

I lowered her onto the chair, "Are you sure this would be ok? They won't go crazy and try to jump on you as you sing right?"

She suddenly acted shy, "If… If they did… Would you protect me, Aster?"

I couldn't help myself and gave her a kiss on her cheek, "I would."

She hid her face with her hands while her blush reached her ears, "I… I'll depend on you then, Aster… Please let me sing my song for you…"

She is so cute.

I stepped down from the stage and stood at the very front, prompting all of my schoolmates to also start gathering around me as they realised Delmare was going to perform.

If I wasn't wrong, Delmare already had a reputation for her singing but they never heard her sing for real outside from just small practice sessions from her.

Despite her assurances from Delmare that it would be fine, I'm still feeling a little worried that everyone here would get affected by her singing.

And if the servants are also affected by her singing, I don't think I can hold them ba-- Oh wait… All of them are taking out earplugs and stuffing them in their ears.

Even Odeta and the rest also took out earplugs which they stuffed in their ears to protect themselves from Delmare's magic singing.

What was weird was the fact that Delmare also put on earplugs as well for some reason.

Just as I was wondering if their plan involved the servants jumping on everyone else to pin them down while Delmare sang, the floor suddenly lit up and chains appeared from the ground to wrap around everyone around me.

Woah… Ok… I guess this was the plan to protect her from the crowd? When did they even set this up? Heck, who could even set this up in the first place?

Everyone let out surprised screams, obviously shocked by the unexpected chains that appeared.

But as sudden as they screamed, they also quietened down just as quickly when Delmare started to sing, her voice reverberating through the hall and captivating everyone who heard it.

Obviously it didn't affect me since I had my [Mind Shield] up but all my schoolmates stared at her with wide eyes as the magic in her singing completely enthralled them.

Just as I was enjoying Delmare's song, I suddenly felt someone jump on me from behind and pushed me down to the ground.

I panicked thinking that someone managed to break free until I turned around to see Lisa straddling me with a frenzied look in her eyes.

Where are your earplugs, Lisa?!!
