Splitting the Heavens

Chapter 1446: Meeting Gong Zhuo Again

As Shang Xia went around the Earth Star gathering information, he would verify it with what he had heard. He started to gain a clearer picture of what was happening within.

When he returned, Xin Lu brought good news. She managed to locate an approximate area where the Star Observatory might be.

“I learned how the continents are distributed in the Essence Xing World and those weren’t a secret. I think that the Star Observator should be located on the Cheng Continent north of the Chen Dynasty. It’s a region of elevated land there and the weather is clear all year round. It’s the best place for them to build the Star Observatory.” Xin Lu explained and brought out the Star Compass and a jade pendant. “After you enter the Cheng Continent, you will be able to locate the Star Observatory with the pendant the moment they try to use any stargazing art.”

“Not bad.” Shang Xia praised as he took the pendant.

Xin Lu’s expression changed slightly and she gnashed her teeth while asking, “Are you really going to infiltrate their world?”

Raising his head, Shang Xia replied in a low voice, “Yes.”

“But… They have 3 Martial Emptiness Realm Sages…” Xin Lu couldn’t help but remind him.

Before she could say more, Shang Xia laughed and interrupted her, “They will have to locate me if they wish to try anything.”

After he spoke, he turned to her and instructed in a low voice, “Wait here for 3 months. If I’m not out by then, you should find a way to leave. You know about Song Zhen’s merchant group and they would come from time to time. As long as you find them, hand them our token and remember our code phrase.” After speaking, he also informed her about the secret code they used.

As he saw her nodding silently, he seemed to have thought of something else and he took out a talisman from his sleeves. “This is called the Heaven Liberation Talisman. If you run into danger around the Essence Xing World, you will be able to use my strength and allow you to gain combat strength comparable to a True Immortal. Of course, it would be for the best if you didn’t have to use it. Once you leave the vicinity of the Essence Xing World, this talisman will not be effective.”

Xin Lu revealed a shocked expression while looking at the talisman.

Shang Xia nodded slightly before he disappeared. When he reappeared, he had already arrived in the vicinity of the heavenly screen. With the activation of a Six Direction Teleportation Talisman, he entered the Essence Xing World.

In the Wanyun Continent…

If it was said that the minimum requirement for a continent of an Essence World to be 10,000 miles wide, to reach a state of perfection at the level of an Essence World, the continent would have to reach the size of 20,000 miles!

The Wanyun Association obtained a piece of world fragment that was 30,000 miles wide after plundering the Spirit Dawn World. When they returned, they fused the world fragment into their world to create the Wanyun Continent. The 30,000 miles wide world fragment contained 3 continents, and with the integration of the first, they managed to create a new continent that was barely shy of 8,000 miles. With the second, their Wanyun Continent surpassed 12,000 miles but because it became more difficult to expand. With the third, it reached a size of 16,000 miles.

The Essence Xing World was considered a peak-tier Essence World. There were many continents that had reached the state of perfection. There wasn’t a single continent that was smaller than 15,000 miles.

With the establishment of the Wanyun Continent that was 16,000 miles, the Essence Xing World gained their 34th continent, which was also the weakest among the others.

Despite their weak foundations compared to the other continents, the Wanyun Association finally managed to obtain a foothold in their world. Compared to the other Elysiums who lowered their heads to the dynasties, no one lorded over the Wanyun Association!

Since they established the continent on their own, they didn’t even need to worry about other factions messing around in their territory since they were the only overlords there!

The Wanyun Continent might not be large, but it was progressing in the correct direction.

Of course, they paid a huge price in order to obtain their very own continent.

Shang Xia infiltrated the Essence Xing World with his Six Direction Teleportation Talisman, and because of his powerful control over its effects, he appeared directly on the newly established Wanyun Continent.

Even though he used the Six Direction Teleportation Talisman, like before, he was still unable to hide his tracks completely from the Sages.

Fortunately for him, he had experience infiltrating their world, and being unable to hide his tracks completely didn’t mean that they would be able to find him. They didn’t have so much spare time to keep looking for an intruder in their world either and could only send True Immortals to search slowly.

The Essence Xing World was too massive and no one knew how many experts entered and left the heavenly screen every day. There were many intruders every day and they used all sorts of methods. There was no need to mention the Sages. Even True Immortals were used to finding people of other worlds.

Since Shang Xia chose the newly created Wanyun Continent that was out of the way, it would be even more difficult for them to find him.

He knew that the reason the Sages of the Essence Xing World placed so much emphasis on him back then was that he chose the wrong place to appear. Back then, he appeared at the borders of both dynasties, and there was a reason for them to suspect he was targeting them. As such, their search was a lot more thorough.

Choosing the territory of an Elysium would be much easier.

Actually, choosing a barren land or somewhere chaotic would reduce the risks of being hunted down even more, but Shang Xia clearly didn’t care about what happened. He knew that if he entered the Wanyun Continent and concealed his aura, the members of the Wanyun Association wouldn’t be able to tell that he had come.

Despite that, he didn’t hide his aura once he arrived. Not too long after he appeared, he noticed a streak of light coming from the heart of the continent, flying straight at him.

Before waiting for the person to arrive, a straight light flashed in Shang Xia’s eyes and he stared at the incoming light with a look as though he had expected as much.

“Brother Shang, it’s been so long…” A familiar voice rang in his ears, and it belonged to none other than Gong Zhuo of the Wanyun Association.

He was no longer a fourth tier True Immortal like before. He had already entered the level of Returning to the Origin, becoming far stronger than before!
